Before the analyze board function was offline and the prices moves quickly, reset was quick... It was ideal. Now the reset is only online and I assume moving the pieces but I'm not sure, if there anyway of changing it back?
Edit: also in a phone the reset button is just above the ads, it's very easy to click on an ad by mistake and get sent to some potential virus ridden scam website.

The reset button works exactly as before - a full page reload.
I'm not saying this is a good solution (it isn't), but it is as it was before.
It is likely to remain that way until the next big project - the board UI update rolls out.

After 16 years of free chess why not subscribe; problem solved.
Russ has done a fantastic job over 23 years and it doesn't come cheap; hence ads for revenue. The subscription is very reasonable for a year of chess.

After 16 years of free chess why not subscribe; problem solved.
My last subscription expired last November, no point in renewing when I don't play much anymore.
The ads in general are fine and expected but they're annoying on the analyze board. On a phone anyway... Sorry Russ, my ad blocker still works on the laptop but I'm rarely on it anymore for chess.
