A quick look today shows 42 siege games unstarted, while those in the queues have to sit and wait. And example: Red board 7 day timeout 14 day timebank. Both players are no longer active on-site, bt what can those in the queue do? They have probabky forgotten they are even waiting given how long the queues take to move...

As an idea, auto-start any siege game a given period after the end of the previous one. To give some allowance for holidays and the like, set this period to the longer of 7 days or the move timout duration.

As an alternative, after one week, allow any player in the queue to jump to the start and begin the game. First come, first served.

totally agree here. had a similar thread last week but no-one noticed...:'( waiting for those ahead of you to play siege games is fine but waiting and waiting for them to START is a pain in the bum

yep - got my agreement. Sieges take far too long anyway.

still 42 today: none of those games have started over the last 2 days. Add to that the issue of a single player sitting on 21 of the boards (edit: not those waiting, just in total) and we can see that sieges are having a few teething problems...
