I have entered a couple banded tournaments since i joined and i always seem to play much better players... i was wondering won't it be better to use an average rating over the last 30 days rather than the hightes rating as the rating used for entry?? maybe its just me but i think this would make the banded tourneys alot more equal..... or maybe its just my rating goes up and down so much 🙄

I have suggested having an average rating before as well, only, I'd like to see a 'RHP career / history' average rating.
This rating would preferably be a weighted average - assigning a higher weighting to recent games.
Something like: (weigths)
1st 30% of games - 0.7
middle 40% - 1.0
last 30% - 1.3
Sum all values and divide by number of rated games played = Average rating weighted towards your current form.
Nobody seems to like this idea - but I will persevere!
