Have you thought about bug house chess here?
A two person team event, one team member gets white the other
black. As the white player takes a piece his/her team mate gets it
and can place it on the board as a move where ever he wants with
few exceptions as pawns cannot be placed on the 8th but can be
on the 7th file, the same is true the black player he gives what
s/he takes and gives it to their team mate too. Wild game under
blitz conditions.
