It is a nice idea guys, but the fact is, anything involving kids and the internet, particularly when it is aimed squarely at kids, scares me senseless.

Could you do me the favour and maybe explain a different threat to children that may be involved?
I have 3 daughters that I would love to be able to have play on a kid friendly chess site. All 3 have taken up a love for the game, and RHP's basic format for chess playing would be Ideal for to further their skills.
It could even come with the every requested Learning guide to help show legal moves and basic strategies.
You could even take it a step further, by ensuring you get parents permission by email and credit card info, or possibly another form for proof of Parents consent.
Flexmore's idea really does have some meritt to it.
