I wish I could tell piece color from the My Games window. I like the play the games with the white pieces first when I have the same opponent with both colors.

You can.

If the game ends in an even number you are white, if it ends in an odd number you are black.

And if my opponent ask you the same question about the same game, what would you answer him?

simply clicking the "info" button shows the game board...and lists which color you are
