As far as I know, a greasemonkey script could easily be thrown together to simply adjust the #FFFFFF and/or #CCCCCC above.

[EDIT] Bugger, source code got formatted. Anyway, right click on this page, and click "view page source", and search for "Under Destruction". The relevant bits are just after that. BTW: a greasemonkey script would only alter how it looks on your machine.

Bad idea. I like my screen as unharsh as possible, and i see dayglow in our future if this sort of thing is introduced.
