Dead clan matches

Would it be possible to get clan games where both players have left the site to be auto - timed out and results attributed accordingly?

Otherwise the rest of the clan battle in vain.

Does that happen often? It sounds like quite a rare thing.

Happens quite a bit actually. An auto timeout for 2 completely inactive players, say 2 or 3 months without a move, having it auto time out as a draw so niether clan will benefit from it.

I know its been addressed before, but I still like the idea.

I was told Russ goes in and cleans these up once in a while. Not sure on the exact details, but saves on code development I guess.
