    In the same way that we have [i] and [b] for creating bold and italic text in a post, can we have another 'tag' that would perform the equivalent of the < pre > tag in HTML.
    Text inside these tags would not get formatted - leading spaces / tabs preserved and no smiley insertions either.

    I would like a tag that gives a fixed sized type font, like courier, so you can draw pictures, illustrations, ascii-arts, graphs etc, with letters and spaces.
