Forum/Thread Searching

When surfing a long thread or a forum, it is difficult to progress beyond page 20.
This is because the menu bar only gives a range of some 20 numbers and always
pushes the selected number as far right as possible.

Can it be made such that, if I click on #20, I get the range of 11-30 rather than
1-20?

You could always change the number in the URL. Of course this isn't a solution just a work around.
