Gifted subs.

I spend a lot of money on apps and games and books for my phone and get tired of them rather quickly.

I use gift card/credit cards and whenever I have a low balance I'll just spend that little bit that's left on a donation to lichess so poor people have a good chess site to use or I spend it on some frivolous extras on some app/games to support the developers.

If you add a gifted subs option here, I wouldn't have a problem with gifting a 3 month sub to a few people throughout the year.

It would also be funny to gift a sub to people I consider an enemy.

Imagine their face when they get a notification that says "You have been gifted a sub by (enter name here) 😄

I'd do it just for the laughs too 🤣

I'm not sure how hard it is to add something to the site but a donation option works just as well.

I remember a thread about the coffee donation but I can't see anything on the site to do this other than that thread.

I actually had a problem yesterday when someone gifted a sub, as there is no clear process for this anymore as there once was. I'll look at reintroducing it soon.

That was a real horses head!

Also, the horse in The Never Ending Story actually died when the contraption for the quicksand scene malfunctioned and the horse went too deep and suffocated.
