Hiding text

Could the instructions for hiding text be more detailed, such as, telling us what keystrokes will defeat the effort at hiding, and mentioning that 'replying with quote' will reveal the hidden text? Also sometimes a 'hidden' icon appears but hovering doesn't reveal the text.

six edits lol...wouldn't it be great if hovering over the edit function revealed everyone's edits..now that would make for a great 'hidden text' feature 😉
