If - Then

Maybe this facility already exists but I think it would be convenient to have an if - then facility when playing.
Particularly when playing the openings, when your moves are fairly automatic.

Basically, you could plan your moves thusly:

If white plays d4 then Nf6 etc. I think it would speed things up for both players.

Once again, if this facility exists then pardon my ignorance.

It gets suggested every now and then. Some agree (typically fast players), others don't (correspondance purists if you like).
