If a clan has no movement, no posting etc etc, for 6 months, then it should be deleted.
I still have mikelom clan. I don't want it, but the system will not remove it, even after a feedback request. I have no members, no challenges for over a year - it is defunct. Why on earth is it still in the system? Russ? Any answers?
Delete defunct clans please.

Once a clan has been created, it can never be deleted, so only create one if you are absolutely sure you want one.
People that are muppets and create a clan that they don't want should be removed from the site for the stupidity they are endowed with.

When's your leaving date, again?
Originally posted by adramforallI don't need a date pal, as I'm married to one of the most beautiful women in the world. Unlike you, I'm not one fisted anymore. 😉
Two potential dates, which is more than you have had in your life are
30th February 2011 and 31st June 2011.
If you and the rest of your male stroking bimbos are looking to throwing me a surprise party hoping to get me drunk, forget it.
The only chance you will have of 2 in a a bed is trucking a schizophrenic!
As for a party, well you have more alcohol in your blood stream than my stroking bimbo colleagues could manage for a week. Enjoy your sober moments on 30th Feb and 31st June. 😏

What it actually means is that he would have to employ someone, that's all. 😛
What you could do, though, is add another field to the clan (and player) record stating whether that clan/player is active or not. The clan owner (player) could then set that field to remove his clan (himself) from the clan/player lists, while still retaining the data in the background for referential integrity.

The only clans that appear on the list are active clans.
Originally posted by Shallow BlueExactly, there is no problem.
Well, then, I fail to see what the problem is in the first place.
Richard
Clan search at present shows 187 active clans.
Do a clan search for the OP's "The Mikelom clan" and what shows up
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
What it does prevent is the OP, starting another clan as a Clan leader. If the clan name and leader association were removed, then it would no longer be against his name, and there would be nothing to stop him, or anyone else in a similar position starting another clan in the future.
