Log in not out

Why does me moving from one computer/device to another matter to anyone but me? I have a phone that I play on and I play on my home computer. If I'm on my phone I log in then play. When I get home I have to log back on when I am using the PC. I think it should just keep me logged in if I choose regardless if I use 1 or 50 devices.
