Say you were playing someone and they started losing. They put up their vacation flag. You can't time them out. The game could sit there for weeks taking up one of your 6 games.

Does that sound fun?

I'm still waiting for you to challenge me with those rules.

At this moment, whether anyone is on vacation is not, everyone can still timeout everyone right, so what is the difference?

He wants the vacation flag to stop timeouts from being claimed.

I dont think its gonna work. If its implemented then there will definitely be people taking advantage of it.

The difference is that Russ should configurate the system so time outs cannot be claimed when the vacation flag is on...to answer other worries maybe he could set a 2week maximum...There's ways to work around this so if anyone can contact Russ?

5 of your games have ended in timeout. You claimed 4 of those.

What are you whining about?

Also, if you look back through the forums you will see this issue has been discussed over and over and over and Russ is fully aware of all the permutations, objections and suggestions for handling time away from the site. Timeout / timebank management is the way it works at RHP.

If posts were limited perhaps people wouldn't waste them!

You can read all about vacation flag / timebank functions in the FAQ.
