But really, I just can't figure out why the recs bother uzless. Russ created a rec system on his web site. I wish it was on the other sites I'm on. It'd cut down on a lot of "I agree" posts. If the page with recommended posts annoys you, don't go there. I like to check it out once a week or so and see what's happening. While I wish we had unlimited recs and had rec counts, it's still nice to see what other people think/approve of/wish they'd said/whatever. I don't care who rec'd it, and most of the time I don't even care who wrote it. It's a feature I can ignore or utilize, like those games/tournaments in which someone fights to keep the board. It's an extra thing that helps make this a great site.

Like you say, the rec page is not very interesting. Was offereing a way to make it better. C'est la vie.
