If you want people to subscribe, please hold more trial tournament...
People who have joined Red Hot Pawn since that tournament (nyself included) should have a cahnce to experience a tournament.
so I was wondering if you'd consider holding them more often... like once a month..
PS sorry if this is in the wrong place...

And to reiterate (what is on the other thread): It does not take a lot of imagination to know what a tournament is like (although when I joined my first one, I was surprised to find that I had to play chess - but that's me). Although the word cahnce might have another meaning that is beyond me, so for that I apologize. I did a search of players and could not find 'nyself', so he/she is definately not allowed into tournaments as xhe (that is a gender neutral term) has not even registered for a trial membership.

If you want to do these things then join RHP. If the trial is worth the money, then the rest of the site is even better.

I'm sorry about my typos... and by the way.. I already read that thread BEFORE posting this...
In fact, that's WHY I posted it.
Same message though. Read the thread Thread 40994 and comment there.

Originally posted by allypallythe problem is more that the subs have seen this request many times and use it as an excuse to harass us non-subs. you are new to the site so I dont expect you to have been aware of this but i am sure you will encounter more of it in time.
OK
I didn't realise what this would cause.. but I guess ignorance isn't an excuse Here is my public apology and if it were possible. I would delete this thread
i do think that the request is valid (to a point) but it's just one of the many things that annoy the subs about us non-sub scum not paying to use what they feel is thier site. many dont even think we should be allowed to post in the forums 😞
a suggestion which might cause less of a nasty reaction would be for a single non-sub tournie (perhaps one per year) which has a restriction on it so that any non-sub which has already entered one of these can no longer enter any more. e.g I was in the "xmas starless duel" so I would not be able to enter any more without subscribing.
this would give the best of both worlds i.e. let the new recruits get a taste of the tournies but not give away anything which the subs feel they have had to pay for. (although im sure there will be plenty of subs which wont even like this idea)
personally im not bothered as I had a taste of the tournies and it was not enough to convince me to subscribe at this point.
on behalf of the silent majority of subs i say - most of us don't understand why a small minority of subs have it in for people who haven't subscribed.
this site is great, and the benefits of subscribing are well worth the money.
especially if you have time to play more than 6 games at a time.
but if you don't want to subscribe that's fine - carry on supporting the site by looking at all those annoying adverts!
and carry on asking for more non-sub tournaments which you probably won't get. 😉
