How about one which doesn't have the word "game" in any URL's or links. A lot of school and office servers block said word, and it could easily be substituted for "board". It would certainly increase my available time and I think it would for a lot of other users as well.

This would be useful. At work, if I try Chess At Work the computer says 'no' as it's a game. I've tried arguing that it's a lifestyle choice, not a game but to no avail. With rhp it tells me it's porn!

How about "definitelynotchessorporn.com"?

I'll second the call for an innocuous alternate name for the site. As Randolph says, any random, goofy name without game, chess etc in it would be nice. Something boring and business-like would probably be ideal.

I got a call at the office one day (many years back) and it was someone trying to sell web sites. I told them I wasn't really interested... and they asked what it would be IF I were to buy it.

I told them, and found it was taken some time after I had said the name.

It was a totally crap name anyway, we had no intentions of using the name.
