Weekends are very hectic. I would appreciate a time format with clock stop every weekend! True, Time Zones and holidays make things a bit tricky but I would be happy with Clock stop based on any specific time zone. The weekends would of course be more or less the same anyway 😉

    Did that make sense?

    No.

Adjust your time controls. Don't play any more 1 day timeout games if you can't move on the weekends.

I would likte to propose the very opposite:
My weekdays are so hectic so i would like to stop the wathces then.
It's only at week-ends I have the time to play chess.

Oh, heck, it's good as it is.

My Tuesdays and Saturdays are quite hectic, especially between 15:51 and 19:38 UTC. I would like to have the option to stop the clocks during that time.

The clocks should stop while we post in the fora.

You could try playing on Gameknot, where they have a similar rule (they add 1 day to all clocks every Saturday or something like that).

Although, to me, that kind of rule seemed so bizarre that it really discouraged me from ever wanting to play over there (back when I was considering the pros and cons of different sites).

If Chris and Russ could do this, I would be happy:

I would like to have the clock stopped in real world so I can spend more time at RHP.

Can we just reverse the clocks to the point that I was 21 again. So I can be young enough to do it and to drunk to remember it?

I would like the option to trade clocks with my opponent, they always have move time on theirs.

Maybe every week non-subs should get one day that they are able to stop the clock and subs get two.

Why each time someone post an idea everybody ridiculize it?

Maybe we should have times of the day where the clock moves twice as fast.
