Playing in tournaments

New to this website. Signed up for a tournament. Noticed that the top rated player is over 2200. Wiinner of group moves on to finals.
Allthough I'm holding my own don't believe there's a chance in hell that I'm going to be numero uno.
Dont they have tournaments with ratings range, say 1100-1500 where the average player has a chance to win?

Plenty. Just you can't enter them when provisionally rated.

Yeah, just wait until you've completed 20 games and then all the wonder of the banded tournaments will be open for you. 🙂
