With surprise I saw that I lost about 7 old games, where my opponent didn't move for some time. I always give them a year in "normal" games and remind now and then.
I understand that you delet games which just take up server space, but if you announced it no harm would be done.

This announcement was the removal of players who haven't been active in 10 years. Not games that had been inactive less than a year.

What the "Drone" games in that post mean I don't know, but they were referred to as stemming from the advent of the site...so harddly applicable.

It is a fair point. We cleared up incomplete games, something we have done before, but this time wasn't explicitly announced.

Next time advance warning to timeout games beforehand will be given.
