Fix the PGN moving thingy so we can have Black
playing first from a set up position.

It's been broken for 6 months. I've said please.

I guess the notation is what makes it tricky: should it be 1. ... Qd3 2. Nxd3, 1... Qd3 2. Nxd3, 1. Qd3 Nxd3?

HeinzKat, leave the thinking to the guys who do the thinking.

How can 1...Qd3 be an opening move.

  • a
  • 7
  • b
  • 6
  • c
  • 5
  • d
  • 4
  • e

Ignore him Russ (he's from Belgium).

Obviously it's the code coloured black in the system that is at fault.

All they need do is to copy the white code, make it black somehow
and paste it in after the white code. At the moment only the code
coloured white is there. They have probably written the black code
but have black backgrounds on their wee TV's so cannot see it.

Don't come back on with one your famous witty retorts HeinzKat.

I know what I'm talking about.

Good. I was waiting for someone to fall into my trap.

1...Qd3 cannot be the first move in a set piece game because
on RHP it don't work.

And that is what this thread is all about.

Type the word HELPMATE into Google and you will get 356,000
different links. 356,000.

(in helpmates black goes first - of course you knew that)

Can we show a Helpmate problem on here? No.

on 356,000 other sites, yes. here No.

Why not? I'll tell you why not.

Because the boffins are too busy catering for losers who want
to access the site via their toy mobile phones .

Or making an 'Auto-mate' function because some of the clowns on
here do not know when they have been checkmated.

Chess Ladders (I think I walked under one the day I joined this site).

Automatic messages......good grief. Now they have lost the power
to even type.

Icons for non subs to show they have reached their 6 game max.
And some of them cannot even count.

One merry chap even wants the forums placed in alphabetical order?
(send him a set of coloured building blocks that will keep him happy)

I bet all this happens before a simple thing like repairing a piece
code that someone who got paid to write screwed up.

Please fix it.

Thank you.
