I would like to have a pm if a tournament, to which I entranted, is over.
There sould be in the winner and a link to the results of thetournament.
for example, I was kicked out in round one of 2009 Championship.
But if the champ is over, I would liked to be informed.
Or in the may 2008 banded I was just kicked out in round 4. I would like to be informed, who won round 5.
And finally, when I ever, ever will win a tourney,
I want that all entrants are informed, that I WON it ;-)

The idea is good. Rec to that.
If you don't want spam, then put a mark in the check box "Don't want spam".

Well, if the idea of afx is realized, then this checkbox should be found somewhere in the "Mail Settings", I suppose, if Russ thinks my idea is good.

Hi Fabian,

that's exactly, want I meant.
I did not want to get an email, but really a pm here on the site.
I don't play hundrets of tournaments per year, so the number of
pms would be very manageable

fair enough does it really matter that much to put it in place? i mean it you're interested in seeing who won a tournament you were playing in that why don't you just look it up every few months?

I bookmark every game in the tournaments I'm in. Every day when enter RHP I can easily see what games that are finnished since yesterday in the "My Home" page.
But a mail would be great. And a checkbox that you can set or reset if you want mails or not.
Same idea can be applied to clan challenges, and sieges, and ladders, as well.

I like the additional idea of catfoodtim.
Everytime, when a tournament starts, there should be a thread started, too. in most tournament someone starts a thread anyway. But this automatical created
thread could be linked from the tournaments page.
That would be very very useful.
In this automatically started thread there could be an automatically message, that
the tournament is over. So it would be enough to be informed, that "someone" added a message to this thread.
If this "someone" is the game-over-robot - ok. If someone else said anything, I would be liked to be informed, too. Quite good!
