I was wondering wether or not we coudl have different rated siege boards. Then maybe all the higher rated players can have a board to their own without them beating down all the lower rated players who will never take control of the board. But with the different rated boards there would be 1000 and under, 1000-1100,1100-1200,1200-1300, 1300-1400,1400-1500,1500-1600,1600-1700,1800+ siege boards.

Someone improving could eliminate themselves just by getting better. That's a problem that your idea would have to have a proper solution to. Especially since from what I understand, it takes a while to get to your siege game when you sign up and you likely could get higher than that rating during that time.
Maybe it could just be that would have to be your rating when you enter and you can't re-enter if your tournament rating isn't in that range.
