Rating is everything to me and I am more likely to draw or concede a game if it will have minimum effect on my rating and I also like to know how much my rating will go up after a win.
Could we have a tab or button that will calculate the effect on our rating dependant on the outcome of the game?
Using the calculation seems complicated and too much hard work, isn't there a button that could do it for me?
Originally posted by PinnacleI do not have it but I heard that this is possible by using firefox and the greasemonkey scripts of Ouboros.

I personally do not care so much, I have my graphing calculator next to me at all times. 🙂
However, this might be a useful idea.

Only install what you want. Do NOT install Hide Pieces.
I know the outcome of any game based on ratings... and how much time I have at a glance.
PM for help if you can't find these things you need.
I have a post somewhere with "Starter Pack" in it or something like that if you use search.

Good question.
You need to know the win expentancy and the constant for your rating range. (Mine Constant is 32 since I am below 2100). If you know the formula, you can calculate easily yourself.
I am playing Korch 2288 rated player. 2288-1550=738 is our rating difference. So plug this into the formula to get the win expentancy.
1 / (10^(738/400)+1) = 0.0140876421. Let's say 0.014 for our purposes.
If I win (1-.014)*32 =31.552, so almost the full 32 points possible.
If I draw (.5-.014)*32 =15.552, nice points for a draw.
If I lose (0-0.014)*32 = -.448, my rating remains same.
It looks lokng but it takes a minute in a graphing calculator.
