Recommending Members

Most websites have a recommendation area, whereby you can give recs to characters (E.g. Linken-in etc), for their abilities.

How about recs for members for their teaching ability, playing style ability, posting ability, introduction ability, history within the site, positivity, negativity (😕) - no go), creativity and so on. An internal rec of persons and chess mentors etc.

Would be a larfff! 😀

That's a cracking idea, truth be told...the nay sayers will no doubt worry about their own 'rateable value'...it's an ego thing, let's burst the bubbles of many here 😛

So, in other words, let's change what many here perceive to be a popularity contest into an actual popularity contest? No, thanks.
