It would be cool if there was a difference between the "Post" link and the "reply to" in the forums. When someone clicks on "reply to" or "reply & quote" the person who wrote the original message ("the one who is quoted"😉 get's a private message "someone answered your post in ...forum".

Especially, as sometimes the 'reply' can occur months after the original post.
