I would love something like my email that I could download and it would pop up when I had a move to respond too. Something like my blue gmail box that flashes.

I only play 50 games but it is too much to get for email but I would like to know if one of my close friends moves.

When my hotmail gets a mail, then I hear a ping.
In my settings I have this hotmail account set to mail whenever a move is made.
Works like a charm.

If you use Firefox, there are extensions that will display the number of games waiting for moves in the status bar at the bottom of the browser.

You can find one at:

And if you don't use Firefox you can get RHPTray which does similar to the aforementioned extension. Adds an icon which can be set to flash red when you have any games waiting.

Thanks for RHPTray info, I didn't know it existed. Have installed it and it's working fine except the count is 1 or 2 off. Since the RHP site's own "x games waiting" count is currently 3 off that's good enough for me. Hopefully once the server gremlins get fixed this will sort itself out.
