There are so many forums now, that if one is a regular poster, keeping track of our own posts from forum to forum is, and always has been, incredibly difficult.
Forum post search is a weak part of this site, in my humble opinion, and needs some work to improve it.
We should be able to have a click, chooses forum, my posts in this forum (by recent, or not, etc.)...... ??
It's only possible to search by author in public forums, and that's as it should be. But I agree that it's difficult for people who belong to several private forums to remember where they said what to whom. Perhaps we could have an option "my forum posts" in the drop-down list under MyHome.
The alternative could be, when you have a private forum visible, to have a "Search this forum for my posts" option available to you.
