I do not go to debates area. I do not like it.
I click around the forums, and sometimes I go to debates... I x-out the browser and take a bath.

    It's that bad!

I'm not sure why you want a post (or posts?) about sports in General... Are you looking to find what sports are most popular at RHP?

    Football (Soccer)
    NFL
    Baseball
    Hockey
    Hoops
    Track and Field
    Boxing
    ....

Well, I'm sure the list goes on.

I would never talk sports in debates, and Sports gets lost in General. I don't see a problem with a separate forum for a popular topic, and many users have already agreed.

If you spam the General Forum with lots of sports threads, it (and the resulting complaints) might convince Russ that a Sports Forum is needed.

    Continuing your list:
    Chess
    Juggling
    Wheelchair basketball

Edit: No, I don't seriously think it's a good idea to spam the General Forum to get what you want.

Yes, but I haven't been practising for years. As I have told you before, I have lots of balls. 😉

Guess, I did not show my support for a sports forum the right way and I'll leave it at that.

I'm still interested in what you were getting at... just so you know. Sorry if I didn't get it.

Spectator sports are for losers so dissatisfied with their own mediocrity that they can only enjoy life vicariously through their superiors, who only excel at an endeavor whose ultimate aim is to please the mediocre fanbase rather than to produce some independent good outside of the vicious circle.

There's really nothing more to discuss. What need for an entire forum?

People will keep posting about football, baseball etc., if you like it or not. If they have their own forum for it, you can avoid those threads more easily.
