There should be a partial subscriptions that allows the user to enter tournaments and have, say 52 games give or take one or two. They should be allowed to join 1 clan also. This should cost about $10.00, or as every one likes it $9.95, a year, or $1 for a month.
If you want more you pay more.

That would be what many people would do. Russ would lose out.
The bits you've removed are in no way worth 2/3 of the subscription cost.
Also if you start splitting subscriptions into different levels you end up like Gameknot in that respect. I think that would be a very bad thing.
