the games on the startpage...

To often I get annoied because when I log in to the statpage, I see game-positions where it seems like the players has made almost random moves. To me that is not chess!! If the games on the startpage was only between players rated, lets say 1400+, I think it really would be a serious improvement... What do you think?! 🙂

too often i play against 1400+ players that seem to make random moves as well (myself included in those kinds of moves) maybe if you want to cut down on that criteria you should say 1700 or even 1800+

But that might scare of beginners from joining the site. They might think they will only get good players to play against, instead of players like me. 😉

Therefore I would say that 1400 would be a good level. (Not to scare beginners off).😉

By the way...
As it looks now I think it can scare good players off, wich I as far as I am concerned would be far worse. Any opinions?!

I saw you on the homepage.

It tends to be only the weak ones I look at, if a strange position comes up I wonder how on earth they got there.
