There should be a way to see how many games one has committed
to. I have a small number of games going on at this time; however,
with a clan tournament, regular tournaments, and so on I have a lot
of games coming, if I’m not careful I could find myself knee deep
in chess games. I normally carry to many any way, but once or twice
I was surprised because I forgotten about something I had signed up
for, like the 2nd round of a tournament I qualified to play in. Is there
a way to have some range of possible games heading my way
depending on the possible outcomes of whatever I've signed myself
    up for, least I forget?

suppose its best to just not forget, or before you commit to another one, count up what you are playing. 'Pending tournaments' in your 'home' page lets you know which tournaments you have not started yet, but entered.
