Brilliant site; but these three things would make it even better.

1. The ability to set up a voting thread, eg what is your favourite opening:

Sicilian 12
Ruy Lopex 6
French 1

Or best positional chess book etc.


2. To have the rating graphs showing the CURRENT rating not current minus one game (a constant source of minor irritation)


3. To have another alias for the site that doesn't contain the word chess (or redhot) to prevent work firewall blocking


But let me say again, this is easily my favourite and easily most used site on the web. Well Done to all involved

Look for "polls" in the forum here. This has been suggested in the recent past several times. We hope it comes one day 🙂

I actually like the rating graph in the profile as it is. The current rating is shown at the left, but the rating when you played the game is something different.

mmm fair point.

how about having an extra bar showing the current rating? ie one where the game details would be empty - until the next game is completed ... at which time a new extra bar would be created (with the new current rating)

I think this would make us both happy?🙄

I almost popped that idea in my last post.

As you complete more games, the graph lines get thinner. After about 300 games, its just a thin line. I wasn't sure, because of this, if it was a practical suggestion (even if the line was a different color).

Votes are so very simple to implement. And I need to use them myself occasionally, so I will get that on my TO DO list for when I want to do a task that doesn’t require too much thought. I have a bit of a backlog at the moment though, clan leagues are sucking up all my time.

It's easy:put the URL of ''my games'' page as opening page of your browser (use the internet options).
