tounaments with prizes

Why not make some tournaments with an entry fee? Say, it costs $2 to enter, (the money would be taken from the credit card that the user subscribed with), 20 people enter, and the winner or winners take the prize?

I realize that this would take some work to organize, but it would be fun, and would give an incentive to play well.

This would probably work best in banded tournaments.

In theory a good idea but with money at stake then engines would
be on in every game. Sad fact.
