user-veto on thread posts

When starting a new thread it would be beneficial if some users could be blocked from posting and/or only named users could post. This would prevent interesting debates being ruined by trolls.

I asked for this feature some time ago... as have others. It will not be granted unfortunately. Private forums, public forums... yada yada.

Just don't want you thinking no one's come up with this idea yet, and there's any chance the admins might entertain it.
