I think it shouldn't be too hard to correct this annoying bug.
Whenever someone writes quotes within a parenthesis a smiley appears that shouldn't be there ("like this for example"😉. I know it's easy enough to add a space between the two ("like this" ) but it's still annoying to edit back posts to get it out.
There's already a combination for the winking smiley ; ) 😉, so the additional one shouldn't be needed " ) "😉.
Just a suggestion to keep improving this great site.

Originally posted by PalynkaIt has been suggested a few times. There are some other combinations leading to smilies as well, but I keep forgetting what they are. Let's see... 😵 maybe? (Edit: Yep... Well, that's also the normal code for the smiley. Maybe that could be changed.) I think there's also some combination not even involving a bracket.

Why does that even make a smile, when ; ) is the wink guy?
P-
When you post a special character it gets translated into it's HTML character entity reference which are all in the format &****;
Stick a bracket on the end of it and you've got the code for a wink.
