I'm discouraged by Sarah Palin.
Apparently she is a follower of Jesus Christ, if not a believer in Jesus Christ, yet she has been repeating a stump speech, over the last week or so, full of half-truths and outright lies.
Has the success of George W. Bush given a whole new generation of right wing conservative Christians a license to shamelessly lie and slander in order to achieve power?
I think I'm going to be sick...

Unfortunately it's not limited to "right wing conservative Christians". It pervades politics and the business world as well.

I noticed this shameless lying by Xians during the 1980 election, although I'm rarely clear on the lines between deliberate lies, self-deception, and rank ignorance.
