    I'm discouraged by Sarah Palin.

Apparently she is a follower of Jesus Christ, if not a believer in Jesus Christ, yet she has been repeating a stump speech, over the last week or so, full of half-truths and outright lies.

Has the success of George W. Bush given a whole new generation of right wing conservative Christians a license to shamelessly lie and slander in order to achieve power?

I think I'm going to be sick...

I started feeling sick about US politics around, oh, 1989? I take these pills, though -- whenever I look at the tv they create a thought-barrier enabling me to identify emotionally with the speaker, irrespective of how idiotic, hypocritical or flatly insane the gibberish they're spouting happens to be. Praise be, I'm so much happier!

You act like its something new.

Anyone willing to shamelessly lie and slander does not usually require a license to do so.

One wonders where Bush got his license from.

Unfortunately it's not limited to "right wing conservative Christians". It pervades politics and the business world as well.

I noticed this shameless lying by Xians during the 1980 election, although I'm rarely clear on the lines between deliberate lies, self-deception, and rank ignorance. Such lies go back further in US history (and all other Xian-influenced states) but in 1980 I was old enough and attentive enough to religion and politics to see the horse manure.

Please cite at least one example of "shameless lying by Xians(sic) during the 1980 election." Thanks.

What a pile. I had time for a few of these, and it's pure propaganda.

There's not one solid thing I could get my hands on. It is a subtle twist of the truth by those with a liberal bias.

I'm surprised you would fall for this stuff.

Why on earth would Sarah Palin want to lie. To be the vice president?
Do you think she is lying for that?

Palin's lies are well-documented. Are you sure you've researched thoroughly? What do you have a contention with specifically?

It's all spin by a media hell bent on getting one of their own socialists in office. They have totally ignored WHO Obama is, and aggressively seek to destroy any republican they can get their hands on while in the midst of an economic melt down caused by the collapse of some of our major loan institutions brought about by the policies and practices of the democrats themselves.

I've never seen anything so bad in my life. The liberal left is so disgusting and corrupt I don't believe a thing they say.

If Obama gets in you can kiss it all goodbye. He and those he appoints will destroy this economy.

All she said was that she put it up for sale on e-bay.

    How is that a lie?
