On matters not having to do with whether Christ came in the flesh or not?

Everybody who is judgmental thinks they are being factual. The problem here is that you are telling everyone else that they should not do something, yet you are setting a bad example.
I'm setting a bad example?? Well, the only solution is to take me behind the woodshed and beat me to a pulp!!

If someone, like twhitehead or this miserable atheist, is invaded by the spirit of the Antichrist according to 1J 4:2-3, then he is invaded of the spirit of the Antichrist big time.

So what is the meaning of your question?

We can agree that in your opinion everyone who is "not truly born by God" (by your specific "god"😉 is invaded by the spirit of Antichrist;

As a Christian, I'm sad to see the direction many other Christians are taking (especially in America). Many Christians today have become too arrogent and judgemental. Non Christians are justified in feeling threatened and repulsed by this behavior. The Bible clearly states: Judge not, lest you be judged. For centuries those in power have used the name of Chr ...[text shortened]... d love of one's fellow humans are frequently not what today's Christians are practicing.

The thread took a different turn here than you intended, I think. I am interested in how you think that American Christians are getting off track. Just curious.

The assumption of course is that "my deity" cannot possibly ever be the real Deity in any case.

The assumption - If it is "my ..." it must be just one of many illusions.

The most effective lies usually have some element of truth in them.

"You will not surely die. But God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes shall be opened ..."

Was that entirely not true ? There was some truth mixed into the pernicious lie.

Well God knows everything.

Christ WANTS everyone to believe in Him (i.e. God), so us Christians want to inspire, help and warn non-Christians before it's too late
