Why the silence? Is everybody waiting for the other guy to go first ??

What does it mean to you for Paul to tell the believers in the church in Corinth -
(leaving out any unbiblical words - "Son-ized, God-ized, We-ized" )

"You are God's cultivated land, God's building?"
KJV says:

'For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building."

Nothing in that says you are a God. Not a word of it.

I did not ask anyone what 1 Cor. 3:9 didn't mean.
I am not interested in anyone saying "Well . . . it doesn't mean _______".

So someone tell me, to them, what does it mean -
"For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's cultivated land, God's building" ?

If you are just going to say it doesn't mean something, I am not interested.
Especially I am not interested if a strawman is being set up such as I have already corrected. Ie. man never being the Godhead.

What is GROWING on this cultivated land ?
Examine the context of the chapter.
Consider the context of the whole New Testamen.

What is GROWING on "God's cultivated land?"
What is being BUILT in "God's building?"

I also put very low priority on the explanations of atheists.
How could they know or care?

Other renderings:

Amplified Bible
For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field [His garden, His vineyard], God’s building.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
For we labor with God and you are the crop and the building of God.

International Standard Version
For we are God's co-workers. You are God's farmland and God's building.

World English Bible
For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's farming, God's building.

Contemporary English Version
Apollos and I work together for God, and you are God's garden and God's building.

Christians, if the church in Corinth was God's farm [cultivated land] then what was being grown on God's farm?

@divegeester

Says the guy who leaves questions dangling unanswered.

Ie . " I examine you. You can't examine me though. "

What is growing on God's cultrivated land, God's farmland ?

International Standard Version (1 Cor. 3:9)
For we are God's co-workers. You are God's farmland and God's building.

What did the apostles as co-laborers of God plant, and water and look for God to cause to grow?

"So then neither is he who plants anything nor he who waters, but God who causes the growth." (v.7)

WHAT was God causing to grow ?

Is there not one Christian brother or sister here who has the guts to answer the simple questions? What is a matter with you saints? You need an atheist to enlighten you?

What was being PLANTED on God's farm?
What was being WATERED on God's farm?
What was God causing to have GROWTH on God's farm?

Are you looking over to the atheist to figure it out for you?

It doesn't mean what you think it means.

I put low opinion on the second-hand ramblings of a charlatan who attempts to add nonsense to scripture.

"Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets." (Luke 6:26)

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's. clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. (Matthew 7:15)
