Christ is not “grown”, and certainly not on metaphorical “farms”. T is the fruits and gifts which are developed. Christ is deposited in fullness at rebirth.
The farms you see. THEY are more metaphors than the church of God.
You have it backwards.
The growth of Christ in man is more real than the "metaphor" of farmers growing
crops on thier farms.
God and His economy is more real.
The growing of plants in the ground on thier physical farms points to this greater
reality - God dispensing Himself into man.
Another indication of God's dispensation being a farm for growing His life in man.Mark.
"And He said, So is the kingdom of God; as if a man cast seed on the earth, And sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and lengthens - how, he does not know. The earth bears fruit by itself; first a blade, then an ear, then full grain in the ear. But when the fruit is ripe, immediatelu he sends forth the sickle, because the harvest has come." (Mark 4:26-29)
Praise God that Jesus communicated the growing of the life of God in men in this way - speaking of casting, sprouting, bearing fruit, lengthening, development and ripeness with harvest. These are all the events of farming.
@sonship
Farmer Jack, how is your garden growing? 😉
TBH, I hope you also share your thoughts on some other forums, because it seems like rather stony ground in this particular one.
@Kevin-Eleven
Gardens need tilling.
You dig up and remove the stones, the thorns, etc.
That is all a part of cultivating the land.
