If you prayed in the context of recent momentous events in eastern Europe...
[1] You would presumably praise God for his greatness and admit dependence on him;
[2] You would, I assume, confess to your "sins" and ask for God's mercy and forgiveness.
[3] I take it you would also thank God for what you see as his many blessings, such as your health or your family or his inspiration.
[4] You might also ask God for something.
If your prayer was a reaction to what is happening in Ukraine, and it took the form of a kind of petition, what exactly and specifically would you pray for?
@kingdavid403 saidUnfortunately, your counter-question does not answer the OP question ~ unless what you mean is that, when you pray, you communicate to God your wishes regarding what you would like to see happen in Ukraine. If that is so, what exactly and specifically do you pray for?
What would you like to see happen, in the near future for the people of Ukraine?

Does God not already know the bad from the good, and all that goes on in-between?
Does God not already know what to do or not, and when to stay out of things?
Praying to me seems like petty, bossy microbes squeaking: "Oh hey there, God -- you might have missed this horrible thing going on despite being omnisicient -- why aren't you doing something about it?"
Might as well ask God if He/She/It swept the floors and emptied all the wastebaskets.
"Come along, God. There's a nice Goddie."
