I understand your concern, bearing in mind you propensity for being hoodwinked.
As a Christian, I realize that the whole WORLD could be deceived.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, of necessity I admit that one much smarter and much cleverer than I could in fact deceive me.
" The great dragon ... the ancient serpent, he who is called the Devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole inhabited earth ... " (Rev. 12:9)
As a Christian I admit that against such a hoodwinker I do not have a chance. I better stay close to the Son of God who alone defeated this deceiver. In Christ he had nothing - no ground to deceive.
Here just before Jesus was crucified He truthfully told His disciples that the Devil had no ground, no vantage point, and no area of control anywhere in Christ's whole being.
" I will no longer speak much with you for the ruler of the world is coming, and in Me he has nothing. " (John 14:30)
Though this deceiver does have some ground of deceptive attack on me against which I am helpless, I know of One in Whom he had and has absolutely NOTHING - no ground and no inward advantage.

And where did i speak of my concern?
Aren't actual truth and absolute truth one and the same thing? If not, what's the difference?

A current truth can be modified if better evidence comes to light. This can not be said of absolute truth, hence its fallacy.
