YOU are the one that said sonship's assertion was ridiculous.

I didn't.
You confirmed, as obvious, that sonship's position is that atheists have a "burning anger" towards God.

You confirmed, as obvious, that this is a ridiculous assertion.

On page 9 you'd already said that it can't possibly be true that non-believers are, or may be, angry at God. After all, you continued, a non-believer doesn't believe God exists. So, logically, as you would have it, how could, or why, would a non-believer bother being angry at/with/towards an entity that doesn't exist?

Asserting as true something that can't possibly be true, as you put it, is by definition a ridiculous assertion.

Ah, but, what if creation is signaling to you that God is, as Romans 1 puts it, and you have blocked it out, and subsequently are suffering under the influence of a reprobate mind, as indicated in Romans 1?

What if your gut is telling you that you're lying to yourself?

Then all bets are off buddy.

This is just evasive prattle.

Only if it's not true.

Only if there's no God.

Only if what the Bible says is not true.

Only if the Holy Spirit isn't tugging at your heart and convicting you of sin, righteousness and judgement.

I know, it's like a slug in the gut hearing it from me, but God is much more gentle, quiet and kind.

This is a red herring. The issue is what I laid out in the first post on this page. If you say you believe in God and the Holy Spirit, that is not in dispute.

Where was there any "slug in the gut"?
