Unfortunately, it's very difficult to satirize something that's often quite absurd in the first place (The original banana video was funnier IMHO) and it's actually kind of scary to be reminded that some people consider these genuine arguments.

We all need a reality check from time to time, and while I enjoy satire I feel sometimes it misses the point if the audience is large; there are likely to be some for whom the moment is not right. It becomes like the FOAF(friend of a friend) tales, or urban legends, and trancends reality to become, well, legendary in nature.
