And (unless you're some type of Unitarian/Bahai) we all want at least some freedom from religion. You want freedom from all the other religions besides Christianity.

From what he said in the interview on the video. He wants the good that came form Christianity and not the bad that comes from Islam, yet without accountability to God and His Christ.
