Like I have been saying,

what I decided to do and what I didn't decide to do about what I was going through ~

how hard I struggled to hang on to my faith or how little I did ~

how many days and weeks and months of contemplation or how few there were ~

how many people I went to for counsel or how few there were ~

how many conversations into the night I had abou ...[text shortened]... how little I did ~

all this personal information, absolutely none of it is any of your business.
I understand how you can feel that this might be "pearls before swine", but there also might be others listening in that could benefit from the honesty of personal revelations like these. Just sayin'.

I admit that I am a fan of 'personal testimony'. This comes in many forms.

Because, imo, many atheists (not all) *do believe* God exists. They just hate Him.

Why else spend so much time arguing He doesn’t exist and trashing Him?

Do you do that with people who believe in unicorns?
But that is not in the definition of atheist. If one does "believe in God", then that's not atheism.

Right. I’m saying many people who claim to be atheists really aren’t atheists. They’re haters of God.

I can think of no other reason why so many self-described atheists would spend so much time arguing against God’s existence and trashing him.

There are people who sincerely believe man never set foot on the moon - that the moon landing was all staged in a Nevada desert.

If a group of them showed up in the forum to argue their case, I might read some of what they wrote for the sake of amusement or entertainment, but I certainly wouldn’t waste time arguing with them.

FMF’s ego needs no stoking.

I think many atheists do hate God and explained why.

Why argue and try so repeatedly to get believers to doubt God’s existence and why repeatedly trash Him?

I don’t do that with people who believe who believe in unicorns, nor do I suspect you do.

And your atheism, if it really is atheism, is based solely on your feelings. Are your feelings always correct? Have your feelings ever led you astray?
When one makes ice cream, one must commit to turning that crank for quite a while (unless you get one that does that for you). The secret to good ice cream is to understand when to stop turning the crank.

I sometimes think they do it to turn our crank.

You mean they’re trolling?

I don’t believe it! 🥴

Jesus cast out the demons into a herd of swine.
It was absolutely rubbish being a swine in the bible.

I think that was her point - that everyone but FMF is swine.

And that perhaps one or two people - reading FMF’s pearls of great wisdom but not participating in the SF - may be worthy of receiving O Ye Mighty One’s jaw-dropping profundities, even if said profundities have the unfortunate fate of also being read by swine.

No one’s interested in your personal information, skippy.

Just the thought of it gives me the willies and dry heaves.

And please feel free not to share it in the future.

People can read your dozens of posts on the "Do we need God to make sense of life?" thread and decide whether you are now being truthful.

They sure can.

I asked you a simple Yes or No question and requested a simple Yes or No answer.

I see you’re needing an attention fix again. Please find it from someone else.
