    Of course they are. We take in objective data and then try to make sense of it all, hence, a belief system is created. Without the belief system, the data we take in would simply have no interpretation, rather, it would simply be mere facts without a possibility to place value on it.

    Seems to me that its all about power and authority. Decisions of those who have it affect the lives of those who dont.
