However, it probably worked for some people but doubt that many will attribute that to magic. Simple psychology and suggestion. Do a search on YouTube for Curious Psychology or Richard Wiseman. There are some excellent examples of how our perceptions can be tricked.

I don't think my nose has itched once since this thread opened. My side, yes. My crotch, my butt, my scalp, my left eyebrow (it's acting up now) but never my nose.

EDIT - Wait - there it goes. Kind of a sorry itch though. Barely noticed it. My right thumb, right side of my upper back and right ear itch too.
